Move Over, Olan Mills

March 26, 2006

Lindsey (16), Sarah (14), and me, the brilliant idea thinker upper

Location: The State Botanical Garden of Georgia

The idea was to take the girls to a lovely setting to get some really great shots of them together. For some reason, they decided against smiling and opted for the “whose dumb idea was this in the first place?” look. Yep. That’s my girls.

Your girls are lovely! Even without smiles. And you and I have the same haircut! How fun that you’re putting photos out for us to see.

Thanks Barb. I think so too.

I was looking for better profile picture, but without a scanner and a digital cam, I’ll just have to wait. Carl likes black and white photos, and he hasn’t quite figured out our new camera yet.

Aren’t those the pictures we go back and think “What in the world were we talking about?” Despite that, beautiful mom and girls.

kids are so funny. someday they’ll complain that you didnt take any “good” photos of them. maybe the next time theyre on the phone with best friends, you can get good shots then. pretty girls in spite of their lack of enthusiasm for the group shots.

Funny thing, Bev – Lindsey loves to take snapshots of herself, and she’s quite good at it.

This was the only shot that day where both their faces were visible.

Thank you, TG, I agree with you about the girls. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think your girls are very pretty. I can recall quite a few pictures of my sister and I not smiling…I think it’s the age thing.
